Mary G. Langhorne, CFP® is the founder of MGL Financial LLC, a financial planning firm in Huntersville, North Carolina.  Mary welcomes all clients to MGL Financial LLC regardless of age, assets, or level of financial expertise.  Ms. Langhorne believes that everyone deserves compassionate and objective financial advice, and a trusted professional they can turn to with questions.

MGL Financial LLC can address your investments, cash flow challenges, retirement, estate and tax planning concerns, just to name a few topics.  As the client, you decide how much assistance you need and when you need it.

Ms. Langhorne has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including insurance and banking.  She was inspired by her volunteer experiences with hospice to establish her own business to help people with their financial concerns.

Meet Mary Langhorne

Ms. Langhorne’s education and qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut, Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University, and a Certified Financial Planning™ Certificate from the College for Financial Planning.  Ms. Langhorne is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Mary is a member of the Financial Planning Association, National Association of Tax Professionals and Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce.  Ms. Langhorne is a North Carolina Notary and an IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer.

Mary is an active volunteer with Hospice & Palliative Care-Charlotte Region, helping patients and families with financial concerns during a very difficult time.  She is also a North Carolina Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) Counselor.
